Heres the recipe to make this delicious, nutritious, super healthy raw Dark Chocolate – Paleo + Vegan

 

Ingredients

  • 60g raw cacao butter finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of raw organic coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey (optional)
  • pinch of Himalayan sea salt
  • 1/3 cup of raw organic cacao powder

Directions

  • Finely chop the cacao butter and with the coconut oil place in a glass bowl over a pan of boiling water
  • Allow to completely melt
  • Remove from heat
  • Whisk in all the other ingredients adding cacao powder last

This next part is where I get really creative

  • Line a slice tin with baking paper and add whatever flavour ingredients you are using
  • Nuts, Shredded coconut, Dried fruit etc
  • I LOVE to use Essential Oils to flavour my chocolate and give it an extra healthy kick
  • Add 3 drops each of whatever Oil you choose, mix through the chocolate then pour into the slice tin covering all your other yummy ingredients.
  • Chill till solid then chop and enjoy 🙂
In here I’ve used macadamia nuts and Inca berries with 3 drops each of Ginger and Wild Orange essential oils. The flavour is and texture is incredible!
